Addressing the gathering of BJP national officials and state unit heads via video conference, Modi made it clear to leaders and workers that they should not deviate from this path despite various incitements and provocations from opponents. politicians and the media.
“You stay on the path of Antyodaya shown by our founding fathers. We should all work hard for optimal saturation of the various government welfare schemes. Because it is the only way to eradicate corruption from the system,” the Prime Minister said.
Hitting political opponents, Modi said they used to exploit the “casual and marginal” cracks in society for their small political gains. “The BJP is not static, it is like a flowing river and therefore, while embracing newer and modern things, it never disconnects from the ‘puratan’ values and traditions of the country,” said he declared.
Lambasting political opponents for practicing “dynastic politics”, the Prime Minister said: “For these people, public life is for the family, of the family and by the family”.
Saying that this system existed in the country for a long time after independence, Prime Minister Modi said that it failed to allow India to realize its true potential.
The Prime Minister however claimed that things have changed since 2014 and that people are taking responsibility for becoming the drivers of this change. “They trusted us several times.
